Motel 6 Artesia, NM

When no one else could accommodate us, they did. From the outside it doesn’t look so great, but the room was good. Very appreciative.

Second time I’ve stayed here for work and absolutely enjoyed it. Rooms were always nice and clean, as well as the bathrooms. Excellent management, communicate the cost and give you a call if something comes up.

I was a little skeptical when I first reserved a room at this location, but when I arrived and got settled in, I was pleasantly surprised at how well kept the rooms were. Very quiet location. I had traveled from Wichita Kansas to view the Solar Eclipse and many other nearby hotels were sold out. Artesia Inn was one of the only locations that had rooms available and I have to say, I really enjoyed my stay.

Let’s cut to the chase. This hotel was recently updated and there are standard USB and house plugs on each side of the bed. That’s a nice feature. TV works, with just one DirectTV remote for a cheaper selection of programming. The room is clean. Water pressure good. And a great ice machine. The bad: the frame of the bed sticks out over the mattress, which is obviously too small. It’s a real shin hazard. Thankfully my experience wasn’t too bad, but it something which just shouldn’t happen. Other than that a clean, safe environment for less than anyone else in town, and much less than anything in Carlsbad.

If one is patient - and vigilant - you’ll get a decent room with all the essentials at a decent rack rate. The room is relatively quiet, as it’s next to a highway. Neighbours are quiet, no enforcement needed. You’ll get a good nights sleep. The coffee service is surprisingly good. When checking in, be vigilant about the price and the “no fees” advertising.

This place was fantastic. The service was fantastic. The room was clean. Everyone was so nice and helpful.

Rooms were clean, except for a few dead moths on the floor. Beds weren’t that comfortable but they were clean. Man at the front desk was very friendly & kind. It’s a fine place to lay your head for the night. Quiet & they serve coffee in the morning at the front desk. Stayed here on my way to White sands & the pricing was great.

We traveled by honda power from Cali to Texas and back for firefighter training. This is by far the best motel 6 we have stayed in. It's clean no roaches the attendants are friendly and kind and coffee! To sum it up, they are the best absolutely the best you can ask anyone. May the Gods bless you.
